iPhony
It’s been a bit over a year since I got my iPhone. I resisted for quite a while (frankly, I resisted cell phones all together for an awfully long time). When I did finally get the iPhone, it was as a gadget, an extravagance. I thought it might help my freelance work a bit. (It hasn’t especially.) It has, however, kind of changed my life. I never expected it, but Internet-in-your-pocket is a transformative technology. I can’t imagine being the sort of Internet-dependant person I am now, without the phone.
It makes me wonder what the forthcoming Apple tablet will be like. Will it be similarly transformative? Or will it be something mundane? (Or, even, just a dud?)
Can’t wait to find out.
